I have a passion for food, dancing, reading and a good sense of humor which I incorporate in my daily routine. Balancing home, work and a social life is all in a day’s work and sometimes the magic is when you combine both.
Starting off my career at Walnut Media has been quite inspirational and I have learnt a lot from my team mates. As Media Manager, my role pertains to media planning and buying for our clients and brands. We enable our clients to maximize the impact of their advertising campaigns through digital media online.
From Radio to Publishers, Television to Digital, working among different mediums, I have gained a lot of experience and enhanced my role as a Media Planner/Manager.
Creative things excite me. Creative people inspire me. Currently working as an account manager for Unilever brands, my job is to take care of anything and everything my brands do on the digital realm. One of the main reasons to work at Walnut Media is that here, I feel I can live my dreams because the people I work with have the same aspirations as me.
All my life I’ve had an avid interest in music. I’ve represented Pakistan internationally with my experimental garage-band called 4Paee when we went to Brazil to compete in an event & managed to secure 4th position. I’m also the lead vocalist of a Progressive Metal band called Odyssey with 2 original albums under our belt. Other than that, I’m a certified foodie, and love to watch movies and TV shows.
Walnut Media has given me the platform to convert my creativity and imagination into veracity. My job as an account manager is very exciting, where I develop and execute plans, campaigns, and ideas for my brands. And it gets more exciting, when time and resources abstains from execution, but somehow, team Walnut finds a way to success.
No one can match my creativity, foresight and imagination. My sixth sense helps me to assess human resource qualities. I tend to fix the person better than a surgeon.
My formula for living is quite simple. I get up in the morning and I go to bed at night. In between, I occupy myself as best I can.
As an HR & PR Manager, it is my responsibility to make sure that every aspect of the company is managed expertly. If constructive thoughts are planted positive outcomes will be the result, which is what I do.

Key Job Functions:
1. You will be the main point of contact for allocated clients
a. Understand all clients’ business goals and products & services offerings to explore and identify ways to integrate business strategies and marketing campaigns(digital) and liaison with customers where necessary to understand & implement ideas. (i.e. monthly, quarterly or annual plans)
b. Liaising with relevant contacts within the client to understand their marketing strategy and methodology
c. Driving revenue from existing accounts in order to create long term sustainability and growth
d. To ensure smooth governance of all client activities (i.e. community management & etc ) provided they fall under the umbrella of Walnut Media's scope of work as per the agreed contract.
2. You will be responsible for all aspects of project management including taking briefs, estimating costs and timeframe, managing client budgets, scheduling in house or external resources and regular reporting to both client and agency teams
3. Responsible for managing social media communities for designated clients including but not limited to the following:
a. All community management activities are to be performed under the shared guidelines
b. High level of participation in conversations that surround our content and brand, answer comments, be a mediator
c. Search and use content that resonates with the brand's TG and managed communities on preapproved content / conversations plans
d. Be the eyes and ears of your brand for reputation management
e. Monitor community performance on a daily, weekly and monthly bases and suggest ongoing improvements
4. You are responsible for compiling case studies of completed work
5. You are responsible ensuring the client receives a superior level of services from the agency teams
6. You will be responsible for managing the digital marketing campaigns from start to finish within agreed deadlines
7. Advise clients on their campaign planning and content creation in conjunction with their business goals.
8. Add value to client marketing campaigns and their digital marketing activities with a view to build a long term relationship
9. To maintain regular reporting of activities and initiatives with the clients on pre defined intervals.
10. To be up to date with local and global marketing communication/ digital marketing trends, platforms & possibilities and to suggest implementation ideas via sound strategy
11. To be aware of the local and international competitor's(direct or indirect) landscape w.r.t product and category.
12. To work independently and as a member of a team
You will be responsible for art concepts in the production of Web, social and mobile applications working within the Creative team or as a part of an Art Design team with other Digital Designers and Copywriters. You will be creating consumer brand artworks for digital platforms as well as adaptations of the artworks for social media and various digital mediums. Focusing on delivering user experience (UX) and design specifications, such as mock-ups, wireframes, prototypes for apps & image creation with the focus that they meet our business needs. You are expected to play a healthy role in research, as well as developing new concepts based on the design brief. To support account managers and art director you will prepare material including working drawings, storyboards and layouts. You will be directly reporting to your Creative Team Lead (Art Director), developing creative ideas and concepts and choosing the appropriate media and style to meet the client's objectives. The work demands creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of industry software, digital platforms, User Experience and a professional approach to time, costs and deadlines.
• Design according to strategic plans provided by the Account team & Product team
• Ensuring that UX specifications supports necessary business purposes and commercial needs
• Assisting non-UX team members in understanding multi-platform design, Information Architecture (IA), Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and related issues
• Work with other Digital Designers, Art Director, Copywriters and designated “team” personnel in production of creative materials.
• Helps establish and maintain quality work that goes beyond design and cuts through to brand image and identity.
• Strives to meet assigned deadlines. Meets with Account Executives, as required, to ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned projects.
• Has working knowledge of computer design software and hardware and strives to stay current in level of knowledge and abilities.
• To work on UX projects independently, within a team or in partnership with external teams according to an agreed brief
• To develop design ideas and basic concepts into fully worked out UX solutions for new projects
• To understand usability and navigation issues and integrate these into the overall design concept
• Liaising with senior UX staff to ensure that designs communicate the intended message, brand identity and look and feel, and that content structure and information architecture is correct
• To take into account and contribute to any existing design styles (e.g. Global Experience Language) and ensure that any design work for new multi-platform projects supports OR evolves these where appropriate
• To re-purpose existing elements and templates as required by design changes
• To keep abreast of industry design developments and technology, and be able to interpret how these would impact services from a design perspective.
• To share information, ideas and best practice with other UX team
• To maintain weekly status reports for the management, highlight issues and roadblocks (if any)
